Children's Nail services include soak, clean, lotion, and paint;  we do not cut, clip, or file the nail or cuticle. 

We do not offer children's facials at this time.  

*Any child who receives spa services must be able to remain still enough to allow the technician to perform the service. While we will attempt an occasional toddler at age 2, many at this age are simply not ready to sit still, and do not want those they consider "strangers" painting their nails. However, we will do our best to paint their nails if they are happy and can maintain stillness either on their own or as a parent or guardian holds them.  If so, they are counted as one of the party guests.

 

The responsible adult parent in charge of the party reservation is required to stay for the duration of the event.  At least 2 adults must remain on the premises for every 3 children attending.  We encourage all parents of children 3 and under to stay, and we will be happy to provide a chair for you to watch and take pictures.  Please Note:  Any participant who normally requires ongoing medical care or private duty nursing, etc. must have this caregiver present to provide constant supervision for the duration of the event.  Safety first!  

 

If any child has allergies, or food intolerances, the parent of that child is allowed to bring their party food to the spa 15 mins prior to the start of the party.  The food must be in a labeled and disposable container.   

Children should wear light clothing that will be comfortable with the addition of a spa robe.  Children are not allowed to change clothes on the premises.

 

All Bathroom visits by children, aged 4 and under, shall be chaperoned by either their parent, or the responsible adult parent in charge of the party reservation.  Children must remain in the party room area at all times, and responsible adult parent must be present at all times to provide supervision as needed.   

All participants require signed waivers and permission slips from each parent or legal guardian, including a witness of such signature by the adult parent in charge of the reservation.  Parents, by signing, represent and agree that this adult is trusted with the supervision and care of their child.   

We want all our guests and clients to have a wonderful time while they are attending any spa service or party at Barefoot on the Beach.  And while it has been a rare occasion that the noise level has been excessive for any of our spa parties, it can happen as children get excited.  We depend on the adults in your group to monitor and encourage the children from exhibiting excessive noise including screaming and yelling.  Loud, excited voices are fine and do not travel as far as screaming/yelling.  Since we are a spa, and many of our guests and clients are also getting relaxing spa services, we appreciate your assistance in this matter.  Also, all attendees should remain in the party area for the duration of the party, as the other areas of the spa generally have other services ongoing, and we must respect their privacy and quiet time. This is also a safety concern.  Children should be monitored by a responsible adult while on the premises at all times.  

Children's Spa Party pricing is based on providing an enjoyable and fun age-appropriate "Spa" experience for the children and includes child spa services as described, minimal decorations, party table(s), refreshments as described, favor bags for each guest, and any extra options you have added.  (Refer to Children's Spa Party Basics). As with regular spa bookings, you are not "renting" the space, but paying for the Children's Spa Party experience.  Therefore, please understand that we do not allow things to be hung on walls as this may cause unnecessary wear and tear on the aesthetics of the spa.  However, you are welcome to supply additional decorations of the non-attached variety.  

Call us at (302) 727-5025 to book your Spa Party.  A non-refundable deposit of $100 with your credit card on file, will reserve your date and time. A minimum 20% required gratuity for your therapists is not included in spa party pricing. This is not optional and will be charged to your credit card on file, along with the total party balance, 48 hours prior to your scheduled event.

Once you have decided, and ready to reserve your date, just give us a call to confirm availability.  We will then take your credit card information, and charge your booking deposit of $100, which will be applied to your total balance due.  The remaining balance and the required 20% Gratuity will be automatically charged to your credit card on file 48 hours prior to your scheduled event. We require 48 hours cancellation notice, Cancellations greater than 48 hours notice will receive a full refund less the $100 Booking Deposit which is non-refundable.  Cancellations with less than 48 hours, will receive a 50% Refund within approximately 10 days. However, there are no refunds with notice of 24 hours or less.  

Any and all changes to headcount, requests for extra services, etc. must be received 7 days prior to the date of the party, so the spa has time to arrange adequate staffing and supplies.  

 

Spa Party Agreement, Liability Waiver,  and Credit Card Authorization will be forwarded to your email after your date is reserved, for your prompt return.

The full balance due will be charged to your credit card on file 48 hours prior to your event, along with the required gratuity.  (Full disclosure below). 

Example: The price of Spa Services do not include Gratuity.  However, 20% is the minimum requirement and when you supply your credit card for your spa booking deposit, you are giving us the authorization to automatically charge your card for the balance of services and the required 20% Gratuity. (For Example: Basic Party for 6 children price is $400 which would require $80 additional for gratuity for a total of $400 + $80 = $480 - $100 booking deposit = $380 Balance Due by Automatic Charge 48 hours in advance)
